ABOUT THE COLLECTION

BALLETSHOFER’s latest collection reclaims travel as a moment worth dressing for. The inspiration? The death of the airport fit. The label says it misses the time when travel meant tailoring, not track pants. Structured wool, glazed nylon, pressed cotton are used in the collection. The colors are pulled from terminals and twilight, such as tarmac black, fog grey and cabin light. Silhouettes are boxy and aerodynamic, like the tailored “Departure Suit”, a full-length trench with contrast lining and a layered set in “runway red” as the final look. With this collection BALLETSHOFER demands less comfort culture, more confidence culture.

ABOUT THE BRAND

BALLETSHOFER is a German-based fashion brand, taking a multidisciplinary approach to bring streetwear elements to traditional tailoring. Capturing timeless elegance through a modern-day lens. To do so, we demonstrate a profound understanding of how to bridge the gap between past and present to create a perfect symbiosis. The collections are de ned by Alan Balletshofer’s juxtaposing design and attention to detail, with an emphasis on tailoring and an eclectic use of materials and fabrics.

Why did you start your label/business?
I started my brand to create fashion that goes beyond trends and fleeting moments. In a world where the industry often divides between content creators and designers, I wanted to focus on crafting clothing that’s more than just visual content – it’s an investment in quality and in how we engage with the world around us. My goal is to design pieces that last, without losing their excitement or relevance, and to offer a deeper connection between what we wear and the experiences we live through
