ABOUT THE COLLECTION
The new collection from COLRS is titled “JUMPING FENCES” and is inspired by the designer’s personal memories of a trip to Brazil. With these designs, the label aims to capture the feeling of a hot summer adventure – complete with all the typical teenage anecdotes: sneaking onto a fenced property with friends, for example, or trying to impress a crush. The collection preserves these fleeting moments in its presentation: hastily pulling up your Levi’s before getting caught, or jumping barefoot onto the backseat of a car with your Converse in hand, always in search of the next adventure under the Brazilian sun. This season, COLRS is placing a stronger focus on upcycling and vintage pieces – items that already come with their own story.

Why did you start your label/business?
I always want to maintain that childlike lightness. Life should feel like a summer vacation with loved ones. Like a first kiss. Or the moment you passed your driving test and took your first ride on a Vespa. I had a wonderful childhood because I was lucky to be surrounded by people full of life and joy.
