Press Release

Anyone reading national or international press coverage of Berlin Fashion Week will repeatedly come across similar comments: "A platform for young talent, new ideas, creative processes, and distinctive personal signatures" (TextilWirtschaft), an "independent location that attracts international industry insiders and emerging talent alike" (Elle Germany), "a dynamic mix of rising talents and international names" (models.com) - an original fashion week "that can serve as a role model for others" (Vogue Business).
And once again, the program for the upcoming Berlin Fashion Week (BFW), taking place from July 2-5, 2026, is characterized by an exceptional diversity - from collection presentations by young labels to runway shows by established brands, from experimental designs to refined tailoring craftsmanship. Accreditation for trade visitors is now open via the accreditation form.
At the heart of the event are the runway productions staged at a variety of iconic locations throughout the city, including ICC Berlin, Tempelhof Airport, and Hotel Adlon. As in previous seasons, the shows of 19 brands are being made possible through funding by the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises/Projekt Zukunft as part of the BERLIN CONTEMPORARY concept competition: Andrej Gronau, BARRAGÁN, BUZIGAHILL, DAGGER, Fruché, GmbH, Haderlump Atelier Berlin, John Lawrence Sullivan, Kasia Kucharska, Laura Gerte, LUEDER, Marke, Milk of Lime, Orange Culture, SF1OG, Selva, UNVAIN, William Fan, and Clara Colette Miramon.
Independent of the concept competitions, numerous other designers will also present their collections during the week, including well-known BFW names such as Kilian Kerner, Marina Hoermanseder, and Rebekka Ruétz. Brands such as #DAMUR, KOLYA BOGATYREV, Impari, Nowrubi, and sample030 will once again host their own runway shows. Guests can also look forward for the first time to shows by the Warsaw-based label MARIUSZ PRZYBYLSKI as well as the Berlin brands MARIE-LOUISE MÜLLER and Studio Taskin - three young labels that have not previously been represented on BFW runways. But Berlin Fashion Week starts even earlier by making the work of graduates visible as well.
This season, the BERLIN CURATED support project will be realized for the second time with a fashion show featuring the work of scholarship recipients who, supported by the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises/Projekt Zukunft and implemented by agency 0049x, have completed a project year consisting of workshops and mentoring sessions. In addition, the graduate shows of three Berlin fashion schools - Berlin University of the Arts, Lette Verein, and Weißensee Academy of Art - will be organized by Platte.Berlin.
Yet during Berlin Fashion Week, fashion is not only presented on the runway: numerous formats such as DER BERLINER SALON, in which organizer NOWADAYS and curator Christiane Arp bring together the ideas of a wide variety of designers in a group exhibition, complement the program with original presentation concepts. As part of the STUDIO2RETAIL concept competition, corresponding formats by the five brands Esther Perbandt, Ioannes, Lou de Bètoly, PLAID-À-PORTER, and Richert Beil are made possible through funding by the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises/Projekt Zukunft, alongside an installation by Berlin designer Dennis Chuene supported by Berliner Sparkasse. All of these initiatives are aimed not only at industry professionals but also at the interested public.
eBay Germany and the Fashion Council Germany (FCG) are once again inviting both industry experts and interested members of the public to the conference series "METAMORPHOSIS - dialogues about change", which this season will focus on topics including circularity and sustainability, innovation, and technology.
Berlin Fashion Week will be framed by an official opening dinner in the Orangery of Charlottenburg Palace and a closing party held at the Weekend Club at Alexanderplatz. From the legendary rooftop terrace on the 17th floor, guests will enjoy views over a fashion destination where "new perspectives and emerging talent are welcome" (TextilWirtschaft).
The preliminary calendar for Berlin Fashion Week SS27 is now available and will continue to be updated with new events; the accreditation form for trade visitors is already open.
