Fashion for everyone: Berlin Fashion Week draws a positive conclusion from the SS27 season

Berlin, 6 July 2026

Berlin Fashion Week looks back on a successful Spring/Summer 2027 season. From 2 to 5 July 2026, Berlin once again presented itself as an international platform for progressive fashion, creative talent and new forms of exchange between the industry and the wider public. With a significantly expanded B2B and B2C programme, the latest edition marked another important step in the continued development of Berlin as a fashion destination.

This season’s Official Schedule featured a total of 53 fashion shows and 62 side events. The programme therefore grew considerably compared to the AW26 edition in February, which included 42 shows and 52 side events. Events took place across the entire city, bringing fashion to a wide variety of locations – from Weißensee to Westend, from Tiergarten to Tempelhof and from Friedrichshain to Friedrichsfelde.

International visibility and strong industry interest

The shows, presentations and events attracted numerous representatives from leading international fashion media, including Vogue Runway, Business of Fashion, FashionUnited, WWD Japan and Dazed Korea.

International buyers and representatives of renowned stores such as Printemps, Isetan Mitsukoshi, H.Lorenzo, Antonioli and United Arrows also attended the programme. As guests of Berlin Fashion Week’s official Hospitality Programme, many have already expressed an interest in returning for the next season.

Berlin Fashion Week is thereby strengthening its position as an internationally relevant industry platform and creating important connections between designers, media representatives, retailers and other key players from the global fashion industry.

Almost 90 per cent growth in the B2C programme

Growth was particularly evident among the events open to the public. A total of 153 B2C events were listed on a dedicated platform, ranging from pop-up shops and in-store events to exhibitions and performances.

Compared to the 82 events registered during the previous season, this represents growth of almost 90 per cent. The increasing interest demonstrates that Berlin Fashion Week is no longer aimed exclusively at an international trade audience. It is increasingly opening up to Berliners and visitors who want to experience fashion throughout the city.

By connecting B2B and B2C formats, the event also significantly increases the public visibility of participating designers, brands and retailers. Berlin Fashion Week is thus reinforcing its ambition to present fashion as an accessible, diverse and socially relevant cultural medium.

Fashion across the city

The latest season once again demonstrated the close connection between fashion, culture and Berlin’s urban life. A wide range of venues, creative presentation formats and publicly accessible events made Berlin Fashion Week visible across numerous districts.

This also brought the guiding principle of Berlin Fashion Week – “The responsible movement of freedom, inclusion, and creativity” – to life throughout the city. The SS27 edition represented an open and responsible fashion week that connects international industry professionals while inviting a broad audience to discover fashion from new perspectives.
