The Jury of the 7/25 Concept Competition.

These experts will select the most innovative and creative show and event concepts as part of the BFW Concept Competition for the June/July 2025 edition of Berlin Fashion Week.
Together with the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises / Project Future, the Fashion Council Germany is once again awarding prize money this season for outstanding event concepts that will be presented during the summer edition of BFW.
As part of the STUDIO2RETAIL competition category, the six best event concepts – which are also accessible to end consumers – will each be awarded prize money of €5,000. The sixth prize is once again being provided by Berliner Sparkasse this season.
In the Berlin Contemporary category, 19 talented designers and fashion labels, along with their runway shows and presentations, will each receive prize money of €25,000. In addition to German and Ukrainian fashion labels, brands based in African countries are once again eligible to apply for funding this season. For the first time, international fashion labels also have the opportunity to participate in the competition.
After the application phase has ended, an international jury of renowned industry experts will select the winning concepts. This jury also forms the newly established Show Committee, which will determine which shows and presentations will be included in the official BFW schedule.
